The New Neighborhood

This year, the current-gen Neighborhood environment will be called 2K Beach. 3). MyTeam progress transfers from current to next-gen

MyTeam progress will transfer to next-gen, provided you’re jumping from Xbox One to Series X or PS4 to PS5. Your card collection as well as Virtual Currency progress will move to next-gen versions.

4). New weekend game mode dubbed MyTeam Limited

Joining MyTeam Unlimited is a new Limited game mode available from Friday to Sunday each week. MyTeam Unlimited has also received a makeover, making it a deeper and more feature-rich mode to test your skills against real opponents.

5). Swap cards at The Exchange

The Exchange is a brand-new feature in MyTeam that allows you to swap cards you no longer want for new cards.

6). Meet the Idols Series Collection

Replacing the Prime series as the most sought-after card collection in MyTeam, the Idol Series Collection will feature some of the best and rarest cards in the game.

7). Flip over cards, win rewards

MyTeam is getting a new rewards mini-game dubbed Ascension.

MyLEAGUE

MyLEAGUE is perhaps the most innovative and advanced management mode in any major sports franchise on the console, and that likely won’t change ahead of next-gen.

There will be a different level of admin control in MyLeague Online. This will allow users to assign specific controls over aspects of online leagues. There will also be an activity log added so that anyone can view the transactions and moves that have taken place in an MLO.

Whether new innovations come, or old ones are optimized, MyLEAGUE is perhaps the most likely game mode to remain a hit with players.

MyCAREER

The NBA 2K21 story is called “The Long Shadow”, and it follows Junior, the son of a famous basketballer. On your way towards playing in the NBA, you’ll be able to play in one of 10 official licensed college programs:
