He also improved as a playmaker by dishing out 6.1 assists in 33.1 minutes per game. He substantially improved in all five major statistical categories and improved shooting accuracy with his stat sheet stuffing.
RJ Barrett +8 (75 to 83)
Another player who saw an astronomical rise in his NBA 2K rating last season was RJ Barrett. He started NBA 2K21 with a 75 rating, which shot up to 83 by the end of the season. He improved in every statistical category except steals while clocking higher minutes, lower turnovers, and more shot attempts. Barrett improved his efficiency from the field overall, which went from 32% from beyond the arc to 40%, with more severe shot attempts; he also improved his free-throw shooting. His first season was good enough, but it’s expected that Haliburton will be listed as one of the league’s best point guards in a few years with some time to improve.
Immanuel Quickley +7 (71 to 78)
Immanuel Quickley plays at the Shooting Guard or Point Guard position for the New York Knicks. Knicks fans are hoping that he turns into one of the best shooting guards in the NBA, but, for now, he’s a welcome addition to the team coming off of the bench. New York will need players who can put up points and the brief window on Quickley makes it look like he’s the man for the job.
