He will likely have an uptick in his numbers this season as he looks to take another giant step towards being a superstar. Kyle Lowry (87)
Kyle Lowry was the point guard for the NBA Champion Toronto Raptors in 2018. He’s suffered from the problem of not looking like what most people think an athlete should look like, but his 87 overall in NBA 2K21 should let uncles across the country know he’s not someone to mess with. The term crafty often comes up when discussing veteran point guards and Lowry is the living embodiment of that phrase when it comes to making the most out of your natural-born talent. He is one of the best leaders in the NBA and is a championship level point guard. Easily one of the top-10 point guards in the league, Lowry is a fantastic shooter from beyond and also a strong playmaker.
Kemba Walker (86)
Kemba Walker is a great point guard for the Celtics because he is an unselfish scorer. He can get buckets when he needs to, and play a playmakers role when necessary. What Kemba Walker does best is creating his own offense and he is very quick with his release and explosion to the basket. The 86 overall point guard has struggled at times in the green and white, but thanks to players like Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, Walker doesn’t need to carry a team like he used to in Charlotte and can focus on leading and distributing. Walker will always be a contender to make an All-Star team and he will likely fight for a place in the Eastern Conference All-Star Team in 2021.
Jamal Murray (86)
Jamal Murray‘s statistics look decent on paper, but his impact for the Denver Nuggets is far greater. Murray made a name for himself throughout last season’s playoffs and was a key factor in them upsetting several teams. Murray will hopefully have more help with Michael Porter Jr coming into his own, and Nikola Jokic playing like the best big man in the league. Murray will most likely have a massive boost in his scoring and assist numbers, as he will turn 24 years old this year. Murray’s growth as a man and as a player will certainly be fun to watch, and he will be one of the best players for the future of the NBA.
