The point guard position has always consisted of all-time great players and have their hands in every possession. Therefore, having a solid point guard is essential. Let’s now look at the 10 best point guards in NBA 2K21, that they’re All-Stars and even superstar talents.
Stephen Curry (95)

Stephen Curry is the best point guard in many people’s eyes despite missing almost the entirety of the 2020 NBA season due to injury. Curry’s skill set is varied across fantastic shooting beyond the arc, great ball handling, and great passing. This shows in NBA 2K21 with his 99 Three-Point Shot, 98 Offensive Consistency, 97 Ball Handle, and 97 Pass IQ. With the ball in his hands whenever he wants, Curry will once again prove why he is the greatest point guard right now. If you have enough NBA2k21 mt coins, you can use him on MyTeam to help you build your dream roster.
Damian Lillard (95)

Damian Lillard is a box office player who can shoot the lights out from anywhere on the court. You can always rely on Dame to nail a clutch shot and produce on offense with scoring ability from any spot on the floor and lethal passing. Lillard brings this into NBA 2K21 with 98 Shot IQ, 98 Offensive Consistency, and 93 Mid-Range Shot. In terms of pure scoring ability and impact on the floor, Lillard has to be a top-2 point guard in the NBA.
Kyrie Irving (90)

Kyrie Irving has undoubtedly the best handles of the current crop of NBA players – maybe even the best ever, and he is a box office player who fills out arenas. With the Brooklyn Nets, he has a chance to repeat history and win his second NBA title. Irving has 99 Ball Handle, 98 Offensive Consistency, and 96 Driving Layup in NBA 2K21.
Trae Young (88)

Trae Young is an emerging star guard for the Atlanta Hawks. His stats are sensational, as he averaged 29.6 PPG and 9.3 APG for the Atlanta Hawks. In terms of offensive skill set at the point guard position, Young is as elite as they come. The reason he has an 88 overall in NBA 2K21 is that he’s not a good defender at all, but if he works on adding that to his game he’ll likely be in the 90 overall range in the years to come.
Chris Paul (88)

Point guard legend Chris Paul is probably one of the best leaders in NBA history. His hustle, killer instinct, and supreme basketball I.Q. make him a perfect point guard. The veteran is surrounded by young potential and has found his groove again leading the team to success. Paul still has it, and it shows in NBA 2K21 with 98 Mid-Range Shot, 96 Close Shot, 95 Pass Perception, and 95 Pass Accuracy. He’s now a member of the Phoenix Suns as an 88 overall who’s looking to help star shooting guard Devin Booker take the next step and make a playoff run.
Russell Westbrook (88)

Russell Westbrook is the greatest stat sheet stuffer at the point guard position since Oscar Robertson. His ability to get triple-doubles is extraordinary, and he has managed to average a triple-double over the past three seasons. His numbers along with his MVP caliber stat-sheet stuffing make him a top-5 point guard easily. Westbrook enters NBA 2K21 with 98 Offensive Consistency, 96 Speed With Ball, 96 Speed, 95 Driving Layups, and 95 Hands. Westbrook is now a member of the Washington Wizards, and thanks to the scoring ability to shoot guard Bradley Beal, Westbrook will likely see success in an offense where he can just play.
Ben Simmons (87)

With an 87 rating, Philadelphia’s Ben Simmons is tied for the seventh-best in NBA 2K21 at the point guard position. The 6’10” point guard is a gifted passer and his rebounding ability at the point guard position is an asset, but it’s hard to be considered a star guard if Simmons can’t shot at all. He will likely have an uptick in his numbers this season as he looks to take another giant step towards being a superstar. If Simmons can take his 3-point shooting to at least 30% this season, he might reach that level already.
Kyle Lowry (87)

Kyle Lowry was the point guard for the NBA Champion Toronto Raptors in 2018. He’s suffered from the problem of not looking like what most people think an athlete should look like, but his 87 overall in NBA 2K21 should let uncles across the country know he’s not someone to mess with. The term crafty often comes up when discussing veteran point guards and Lowry is the living embodiment of that phrase when it comes to making the most out of your natural-born talent. He is one of the best leaders in the NBA and is a championship level point guard. Easily one of the top-10 point guards in the league, Lowry is a fantastic shooter from beyond and also a strong playmaker.
Kemba Walker (86)

Kemba Walker is a great point guard for the Celtics because he is an unselfish scorer. He can get buckets when he needs to, and play a playmakers role when necessary. What Kemba Walker does best is creating his own offense and he is very quick with his release and explosion to the basket. The 86 overall point guard has struggled at times in the green and white, but thanks to players like Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, Walker doesn’t need to carry a team like he used to in Charlotte and can focus on leading and distributing. Walker will always be a contender to make an All-Star team and he will likely fight for a place in the Eastern Conference All-Star Team in 2021.
Jamal Murray (86)

Jamal Murray‘s statistics look decent on paper, but his impact for the Denver Nuggets is far greater. Murray made a name for himself throughout last season’s playoffs and was a key factor in them upsetting several teams. Murray will hopefully have more help with Michael Porter Jr coming into his own, and Nikola Jokic playing like the best big man in the league. Murray will most likely have a massive boost in his scoring and assist numbers, as he will turn 24 years old this year. Murray’s growth as a man and as a player will certainly be fun to watch, and he will be one of the best players for the future of the NBA.
