NBA 2K20 MyTeam has been following its usual beats, continuously roll out new player cards. Recently, the new Spotlight Sim cards have been launched. Those went to big men Brook Lopez and Darko Milicic, among others with one player getting a new Galaxy Opal.
Milicic, Lopez earn new NBA 2K20 Spotlight Sim Cards
The new Spotlight Sim players are galaxy opal Sarunas Marciulionis, pink diamond Wally Szczerbiak, pink diamond Brook Lopez, diamond Tim Legler, and amethyst Darko Milicic.
• Darko Milicic
Darko Milicic played on the Pistons roster during his first year in the NBA. That’s the case for the man who many forgot from the 2003 NBA Draft as he was the infamous No. 2 pick sandwiched between LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony. With only 1.4 points averaged per game, he also only had .2 steals and .4 blocks per game, and 1.3 total rebounds averaged per game.
One gamer was able to score 51 points in a game using Milicic on the Minnesota Timberwolves. Not only that, he achieved a triple-double which also included 15 boards and 10 assists. That brought the following brand new Darko 92 overall Amethyst card.
• Brook Lopez
It seemed like the entire NBA got swept up in the Brook Lopez three-point revolution that carried the Bucks to 60 wins and a Conference Finals berth last season.
A former All-Star who possesses a potent post scoring game, can not only space the floor efficiently but knock down long-range shots from greater distances than anyone other than Stephen Curry, and also anchor a defense with outstanding rim protection.
He’s been known to knock down threes and definitely has the scoring ability. In 2K20, a gamer was able to In 2K20, one gamer achieved an out of this world quadruple-double consisting of 100 points, 19 rebounds, 11 assists, and 10 blocks. That’s just craziness and it means there’s now a 98 OVR Pink Diamond for Lopez.
• Tim Legler
Tim Legler‘s best NBA season was 1995–1996, when he ranked first in the league in both 3-point field goal percentage and true shooting percentage, ranked second in turnover ratio, and won the 1996 Three-Point Shootout during All-Star Weekend. He holds the record for a 3-round aggregate of (23, 22, and 20 out of 30 each) 65 points (out of 90). And though we’d love to give the man more credit for hitting 52 percent that year, his 603 career attempts leave something to be desired. Still that sharpshooting season made him credible enough for a studio spot and, more importantly, maybe opened the door for a bevy of poon.
Tim Legler got a new 95 OVR Diamond for knocking down 33 three-pointers en route to 104 points.
• Wally Szczerbiak
While not having the most illustrious career in the league, Wally Szczerbiak was still part of the team and helped them to have a strong finish. Averaging just barely 10.2 points per game, he held a 1.2 assist per game, as well as 3.1 total rebounds per game.
Wally Szczerbiak was awarded a new Pink Diamond for a 92 points performance.
• Sarunas Marciulionis
The best new card went to former NBA star Sarunas Marciulionis. He averaged 14.7 points per game from 1989-93 for the Warriors as part of a seven-year NBA career.
The first Soviet player in the NBA, Marciulionis helped resurrect the Lithuanian national team, which won bronze medals at the 1992 and 1996 Olympic Games.
The SG/PG had 53 points and 21 assists, resulting in an all-new Galaxy Opal for him as a member of the Golden State Warriors.
