The NBA 2K20 will be launched on the PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC platforms next Friday. Today, The 2K20 revealed some of the best dunks in the game, including Vince Carter, Zion Williamson, Zach LaVine, Donovan Mitchell, Aaron Gordon, and Hamidou Diallo. The details are as follows:
Vince Carter
Checking in as the all-time top dunker in NBA 2K20 is none other than Vince Carter with an impeccable 99 dunk rating. While only playing in seventy-six games last season with the Atlanta Hawks, Carter was able to drop 123 threes. During last season, Carter was able to average 7.4 points and 2.6 rebounds per game with the Hawks. He was able to average these numbers while only receiving 17.5 minutes per game. Carter still has the ability to be a reliable scorer and able to wreak havoc on the league. Of course, fans shouldn’t expect the 42-year old Atlanta Hawks guard to throw down any between the legs dunks, but if you’re playing with the classic Raptors version of VC you’ll have no issues posterizing your opponents.
Zion Williamson
As far as the 2019-20 rosters are concerned, New Orleans Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson boasts a 97 dunk rating, which is tops in the league. It’s a high rating for someone who has yet to play a minute in an NBA game yet, but Williamson is one of the most exciting in-game dunkers to hit the league in years, someone who threw down a 360-degree dunk on a breakaway against Clemson and had several jaw-dropping finishes on lobs. Zion Williamson ranks as 2K20s top dunker for the upcoming season.
Zach LaVine & Donovan Mitchell
Williamson is followed by two-time Slam Dunk champ Zach LaVine and 2018 dunk contest winner Donovan Mitchell, both of whom have a 96 dunk rating. LaVine is looking to build on a career year in which he averaged 23.7 points on 47% shooting, 4.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists for the Bulls in 63 games. He’ll be asked to take an even bigger step forward in Year 6 as the Bulls enter Year 3 of their rebuild. Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell is previous winners of the NBA All-Star Weekend Slam Dunk contest in 2018.
Aaron Gordon & Hamidou Diallo
Rounding out the top five were Aaron Gordon with the Orlando Magic and Oklahoma City’s Hamidou Diallo, each of whom received 95s on dunking.
