NBA 2K20 has been rolling out some new features over the last several weeks including gameplay adjustments and WNBA teams. Earlier this week, 2K announced the All-Decade “Legendary Teams,” including the starting fives for the ’80s, ’90, 2000s and 2010s. This is where NBA 2K20 really outdid themselves with the classic teams this year because the 2013-14 Spurs were loaded, the Spurs had won 62 games in the regular season and took the number one seed in the Western Conference. One of the best teams in NBA history.
The Beautiful Game team will finally get their 2K spotlight six years after the squad won the franchise’s 5th NBA championship, beating LeBron James’ Miami Heat 4-1. After losing the NBA Finals to the Big 3 and the Miami Heat the year prior, the Spurs returned the likes of Kawhi Leonard, Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker, who all played major roles in avenging the loss to capture the franchise’s fifth title in 2014 — which, ultimately, led to a power shift in the league as LeBron James left South Beach that summer.
A third-year Spurs player, Kawhi Leonard, had his NBA breakout in the series with his lock-down defense against James.
